About Little Ox | UK Based Supplements

Dr Chun Tang is the founder of Little Ox and a highly respected General Practitioner and medical director based in the UK.

He graduated from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB). He completed his GP training at Salford Royal Hospital, becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2003. With more than 26 years of clinical experience, Dr Tang has developed a broad expertise across acute and chronic disease management, emergency medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, geriatrics, and surgery.

Known for his compassionate care and thorough approach, Dr Tang has a special interest in early disease detection, which inspired him to help advance preventative healthcare and wellness solutions in the UK. He is actively involved in medical education, teaching medical students and trainee doctors, and is fluent in German and French.

As the co-founder of Little Ox, Dr Tang brings his passion for holistic well-being and evidence-backed health interventions to a broader audience, empowering people to reclaim their vitality and live healthier, fuller lives by addressing nutritional gaps and supporting daily wellness.

Clara Weisshaar is a research associate formerly based at the University of Manchester, with expertise in public sector innovation and procurement.

Her recent work has focused upon quality improvement in healthcare, studying the uptake of new technologies in complex care settings, and mobilising institutional theories to understand differences in the absorptive capacity of organisations.

Clara also holds the role of Innovation Director for Biox Medical UK. In this role she leads the development of advanced preventative and predictive technologies, setting the standard for innovative solutions in early disease detection.

As a co-founder of Little Ox, Clara channels her appetite for helping people improve their quality of life into natural wellness supplements.

This has helped to shape our position as a company that strives to provide wellness solutions for everyone at the best possible value, whilst being extremely vigilant in our pursuit of high-quality.

Dr Vikas Shah MBE DL is a celebrated entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and business thought leader with a remarkable track record across diverse industries.

He serves as a Non-Executive Board Member for the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ). He holds non-executive director roles with organisations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Institute of Directors.

Recognised for his outstanding contributions to business and the economy, Dr Shah received an MBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours, and in 2021 was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester. He is an Honorary Professor of Business at the Alliance Manchester Business School, Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship for the prestigious MIT Sloan Lisbon MBA, and a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Salford.

A passionate advocate for mental health, Dr Shah regularly speaks and writes on business, innovation, and social responsibility, inspiring audiences in the UK and abroad.

Jodie is an expert in making sure businesses run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards in product quality and customer experience.

Jodie's extensive experience means we have a detail-orientated and strategic focus to our day-to-day operations across manufacturing, logistics and customer service.

Her careful management of the team ensures that products are delivered safely, on time, and to the standard customers expect.

As Head of Marketing, Josh applies his background in social, search, affiliate and content marketing to help Little Ox reach people who care about their nutrition and wellness.

Josh works closely with product, sales and creative teams to deliver campaigns that are both memorable and meaningful, helping our business grow while staying true to our mission.

Martin is responsible for shaping how Little Ox connects with its customers.

He brings Little Ox's purpose and personality to life across every touchpoint.

Martin has a strong track record of building brands that not only stand out in the market but also earn long-term trust. He's passionate about wellbeing and the role nutrition plays in everyday life, and helps the team create engaging campaigns and meaningful partnerships that resonate with people looking to make informed choices about their health.

Danny helps to shape our vision and guide our growth in the ever-evolving world of health and nutrition.

With a history of shaping business strategy for start-ups, he brings both analytical rigour and creative thinking to the role, ensuring that every decision supports the company’s mission to make high-quality supplements accessible and trusted.

Danny's approach combines a clear eye on long-term opportunities with a genuine enthusiasm for understanding what customers need today.

Matt, our Head of Finance, ensures the Little Ox financial strategies align with both business goals and team needs.

Andrew runs campaigns for Little Ox across several advertising platforms.

Gemma Hutchinson manages all of our packing and fulfillment services.

She is a friendly face in our packing centre and has a keen eye for improving practices day-to-day, so that our fulfillment team continues to deliver excellent service and our high standards are maintained.

Mike Swain has a track record of delivering large-scale, ambitious projects.

At Little Ox, he understands everything that is going on day-to-day, so that the team can deliver on all fronts with guidance across all of our operations.

Tav is a skilled social media manager who specialises in growing accounts and online communities across TikTok and Meta.

He has achieved virality with carefully curated posts across various accounts, through deep knowledge of platform algorithms and user behaviour.
