Little Ox was founded by Dr Chun Tang — a practising NHS and private GP with over 26 years of clinical experience, currently practising at Pall Mall Medical in Manchester, one of the UK's leading CQC-registered private healthcare clinics.

Dr Tang holds an MBChB from the University of Manchester, MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners), DFFP (Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning), JCPTGP, and an MBA from the Open University Business School. His clinical background spans Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation — a uniquely broad foundation for understanding what the body actually needs at every stage of life.

He has been quoted as a medical authority by The Telegraph, The Mirror, The Independent, Women's Health magazine and Pharmaphorum, among others. As Medical Director of Biox Medical Ltd and co-founder of MeCheck (a clinical diagnostic testing platform), he has spent the last decade working at the intersection of preventative medicine and accessible healthcare.

Why We Started Little Ox

In over two decades of clinical practice, Dr Tang observed the same pattern repeatedly: patients in their 40s and 50s arriving with complaints of declining energy, deteriorating sleep, slower recovery and reduced cognitive sharpness — and leaving with no satisfactory answers. The NHS, understandably, is not designed to address the biology of healthy ageing. It addresses disease. The space between "not ill" and "thriving" is largely unoccupied by mainstream medicine.

The emerging science of NAD+ decline, sirtuin biology and longevity supplementation offered a scientifically credible set of tools for addressing exactly this space.
