About Astaxanthin and Caviar Extract

Astaxanthin is the carotenoid that gives salmon, trout and krill their colour. Royal caviar extract supplies omega-3 fatty acids in phospholipid-bound form. Neither ingredient carries an authorised UK health claim, so we describe both factually and make no health benefit claims for them. Where you see marketing elsewhere attributing skin or anti-ageing effects to astaxanthin, that is a claim UK regulation does not permit.
